Helping Hands of Stalyhill

Welcome to Helping Hands of Stalyhill

Helping Hands of Stalyhill (previously known as the PTA) is a registered charity which is run by parents, teachers and friends of the school. Our aim is to raise funds which can be used to enrich the learning experiences of the children at both schools. This funding stream is vital, as budgets are getting smaller each year.

We run activities such as the Christmas and Summer fairs; school discos; theatre tickets; Mother and Father’s Day events. We try to make the fund-raising events fun, interactive and that will bring together our children and parents.

Lately the money raised has been used to support some big projects such as improving the infant school playground and adding features to the junior school forest school.  As well as these projects, Helping Hands also funds the junior school chess trip; gifts for the children at Christmas and Easter and school leaver presents.

On average we raise more than £10,000 every year and this cannot be done without the support of parents and teachers.
Thank you to everyone who has got involved so far this year.
